Nail Polish Well, that depends. Opened bottles should be tossed after about two years. Unopened, they can last indefinitely, says Annette Soboleski, a nail technician for polish maker OPI. Once a bottle has been opened, some ingredients will evaporate, causing the polish to thicken and separate.

OPI is a leader in nail polish brands. It's more expensive than other brands because of the quality of the polish. I like OPI polishes however, my go to brand of nail polishes is Zoya. You get what you pay for and I believe OPI is one of the best nail polishes that's comapred to China Glaze and Essie.

OPI GelColor: The label itself should be very well stuck onto the base if you can remove this label easily be wary. Fake bottles seem to be slightly shorter when compared to genuine bottles. Genuine bottles have a finely ribbed base. Many fakes have no ribbed base or the ribbed texture is chunkier (see above photo)
